ATTACHMENT-INFORMED TALKING THERAPY
Fostering Healthy Relationships & Investing in Your Emotional Wellbeing
At the heart of therapy and lasting change, is a therapeutic relationship built on trust, one in which you feel genuinely heard, seen, and understood.
My approach is collaborative, down-to-earth, and grounded in real curiosity about who you are as a person, not a diagnosis, a set of symptoms, or a problem to be solved. Drawing on attachment theory, psychodynamic and relational approaches, I can work with you to explore the patterns and experiences that may be quietly shaping your inner life, emotions and your relationships.
We can begin to untangle what feels stuck, develop a clearer sense of yourself, and open up new ways of living that feel more balanced, authentic, and fulfilling.

Clinical Psychologists in the UK are highly trained mental health professionals with doctoral-level qualification. We are regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and our training involves many years of supervised placements within NHS and other clinical settings, working with a wide range of complex psychological difficulties, across all age groups.
The title “Clinical Psychologist” is protected in the UK, meaning only those who meet the rigorous standards can use it.
People often choose a Clinical Psychologist when they’re looking for evidence-based therapies and a more in-depth psychological approach to their mental health concerns.
A very important factor when starting private therapy, is finding a therapist whose skills and qualifications match your needs and always ensure they’re regulated by a professional body.
An initial consultation can be a helpful way to see whether you feel comfortable with a particular therapist and if they’re the right fit for you.

I have over 15 years experience working in mental health services within NHS and private sector. I have a special interest in attachment & relational evidence-based therapies.
I specialise in working with adults with attachment trauma, as well as common mental health difficulties, such as depression, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties and burnout.
If you’re interested in gaining a deeper understanding into the patterns and familiar feelings shaping your life and you’re seeking meaningful, lasting change (rather than short term fixes) my approach may resonate with you.

Trust and honesty is an integral part of any therapist – client relationship, this means that what you discuss within your psychology sessions are conditionally confidential. However, in rare cases it is my duty of care to break confidentiality.
There are limited exceptions to confidentiality, such as if there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others. These boundaries would be discussed clearly at the start of therapy to ensure transparency and trust.
-
I completely understand that starting therapy can feel daunting. It’s really common to worry about what you’ll say (or not having anything to say), feeling embarrassed, or being judged. To help with this, I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and explore whether therapy could be helpful for you.
I also offer a single 50-minute standalone appointment with no ongoing commitment. These sessions provide a safe, confidential space to slow down, untangle what’s on your mind, and begin to think together about the next steps that are important to you.
Head over to my ‘Services’ page for more details or get in touch to arrange a quick call.
